An Off-The-Rails Summer Movie Draft

Three of us drafted some movies. It didn't go as planned.

Summer technically starts on June 21st, but I’m sweating and my allergies are killing me, so it’s summer now. Those are the rules.

With that said, a few of us—yours truly, joined by fellow unhinged movie watchers Taylor Eisenhauer and Antara Sinha—met up to draft 2023 Summer Movies. There are coughs galore and many a complaint, so you should know that going in.

Also, Taylor was at a gin event earlier in the day, Antara was at a Muay Thai class and I had just come back from a four-mile run to Yankee Stadium, so everyone was exhausted and ready to argue.

The goal was for each of us to draft five movies that will be released over the next few months. We don’t care about box-office results here, but we’ll reconvene at the end of the summer to see who WON (I did) and who LOST (everyone else).

You have to listen to the entire pod to scroll down, but I’ll add in our selections in case you want to add some titles to your lists and get ready for what’s set to be an incredible few months of movies.
