I don’t celebrate Christmas1, but boy … Erica Steward does. An interior designer and Panini’s mother, Erica, is maybe the No. 1 Christmaser, at least out of anyone I know.
It only seemed right to make this month’s Aerial Shot: Movie Club Christmas-themed. Hence, we had to bring in Erica, and she pretty quickly chose National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, directed by Jeremiah S. Chechik, written by John Hughes and starring Chevy Chase.
I’ve never actually seen this one before, so there was a lot to catch up on. I think I did okay. We had a great time breaking down the 1989 holiday classic and even had some Clark Griswold-esque technical difficulties.
This’ll be the last Movie Club of the year, so thanks for listening. It’s been fun, even if I grind my teeth every time I have to listen back to my voice. Happy holidays!
unless you count Jewish Christmas, which is Chinese food, a movie and unbelievable vibes
