Driving Myself Insane Ranking Movies
My annual list is now out. I apologize in advance.
Hi. Let’s get right to it. You’re busy, I’m busy. No need to bury the news: My ranking of every (new) movie I saw this year is NOW OUT.
This was a tremendous undertaking, as it is every year for no reason whatsoever, and I’m ultimately very proud of my Top 10. I take this very seriously—many would say much too seriously—and I’d appreciate it if you checked it out. In total, I saw 105 2024 releases over the last 12 months. I even saw a select few multiple times including The Brutalist, which is a slight 215 minutes.

I’m keeping it short this week because it’s between Christmas and New Year’s (also it’s Hanukkah) …. plus the year-end ranking is around 6,000 words, but I appreciate you all following along. Also, I’ve had a bunch of new subscribers lately—to be honest, I’m not totally sure why—so if you’ve joined Aerial Shot recently and want to let me know why, I wouldn’t be against it. If there’s anything you think I should cover and/or look at, I’m not against any suggestions.
